Scripture Study & Prayer Points
List what you want God to do for you, and commit what’s on your list to Him in prayer. As you go through the week, ask Him to grant your request and He will.
Monday: Matthew 18:6-9
(1) Worship God for this day He has made. Thank Him for this new week He’s brought you to. Ask Him to make the week far fruitful and fulfilling than the previous. (2) Commit your family into His hands. Petition the Lord to protect and preserve your family. Ask Him to keep all members of your family from evil and to destroy the enemy’s plans.
Tuesday: Matthew 18:15-20
(1) Lift ICGCVA in prayer before the Lord. Ask Him to help and empower us to accomplish every goal we’ve set for the year and for the church. (2) Petition the Holy Spirit to shed and saturate the heart of every member of this household of faith with the love of Christ. (3) Pray that the Lord will make walking in the love of Christ the hallmark of the church. Pray for a forgiving heart and a loving spirit and attitude for the brethren.
Wednesday: Matthew 18:21-35
(1) Commit yourself into the hands of the Lord. Ask Him to grant your heart desires. Pray that no expectation of yours will be cut short, but that God by His divine power will make all things well in your life. (2) Release yourself into the hands of the Lord and ask Him to direct your path and to lead you in all you do. (3) Earnestly pray and cry unto the Lord to pick you up from the level you are in life to a higher level. Plead with Him to lift you up.
Thursday: Ephesians 3:14-21
(1) Commit the brethren and members of ICGCVA’s household of faith into the hands of the Lord. Pray for every single member that in this year of the Supernatural, they will encounter God’s supernatural power and live for Him. (2) Ask the Lord to step into the lives of His people and to establish His rule by reason of Him ruling in the affairs of men.
Friday: 1 John 3:10-15
(1) Come against the spirit of backsliddeness. Pray that none of the Household of faith will abandon their salvation. (2) Pray for the spirit of endurance, tenacity and resilience to be the portion of His people. (3) Ask the Lord to remove the scales off the eyes of everyone and to open the eyes of our understanding to the truth of His Word. (4) Ask Him for the manifestation of His Word in the lives of His people. Pray His blessings on the brethren and pray for what we read in the Bible and hear preached to reflect in our lives.
Saturday: 1 John 3:16-23
(1) Ask the Lord to protect pastor and his family. Pray for divine provision, divine protection and divine favor upon the pastor and his family. (2) Pray for the Lord to increase the anointing and unction on His life. (3) Ask the Lord to make him His mouthpiece and to empower him to declare His oracles of salvation, deliverance and healing to the nations.
Sunday: 1 John 4:12-16
(1) Ask for the release of the power of God in the service.
(2) Give God glory and thanks for what He will do in the service.
